Meet the Team
While this could be considered a ministry, we are not ministers and we don't preach. We are curators.
A curator gathers, studies, and thoughtfully shares things of beauty, meaning, and wonder. That's what Gardening with God has become—a carefully curated collection of garden experiences, life lessons, artwork, research, Scripture, and reflections that have inspired many journeys, and that we hope will inspire yours.
We don't claim to have all the answers. We simply invite you to slow down, notice God's creations, ask questions, continue learning, and discover the extraordinary beauty that often hides within ordinary things.
If something in our discussions encourages you to see with fresh eyes, then Gardening with God has fulfilled its purpose.
Welcome. We are so glad you're here. Allow us to share a bit about ourselves...
Co-Founder & Curator
Angela's journey has always been rooted in both creativity and curiosity. She earned her undergraduate degree in Fine Art and, early in life, believed she was destined to become a professional artist. Life, however, led her down an unexpected path. Determined to build a secure future, Angela pursued a career in technology, spending decades solving complex problems in the corporate world while continuing to nurture her artistic spirit after hours. She often describes herself as "left-brained by day and right-brained by night." Today, those two worlds have come together. As a University of Florida Certified Master Gardener, lifelong student of God's creation, and artist known as "The Snake Shed Artist", Angela enjoys exploring the fascinating intersection of gardening, science, art, and faith. Her passion is not simply teaching people how to garden, but inviting them to slow down, ask questions, appreciate God's creations, and discover the extraordinary beauty often hidden within ordinary things.
Co-Founder & Chief Garden Gopher
Brian is the quiet problem solver behind many of the gardens, pathways, irrigation systems, and drainage solutions that help Gardening with God flourish. While he prefers working behind the scenes rather than standing at the front of the room, his practical wisdom and willingness to lend a hand are woven into nearly every part of the ministry. A true "guy's guy" with a servant's heart, Brian has an uncanny ability to solve the challenges that make gardens thrive—from directing water where it belongs to designing practical solutions that often go unnoticed until someone asks, "How did you do that?"If you have a question about drainage, irrigation, or making a landscape function better, Brian is usually the person to ask. His humility, sense of humor, and steady encouragement remind us that some of the most important work happens quietly, behind the scenes.
Curator
Lynn's friendship has become one of God's greatest blessings in the story of Gardening with God. Lynn & Angela first met through a church Connection Group, where a shared love of learning and a desire to grow in faith quickly developed into a deep and lasting friendship. Deeply grounded in Scripture, Lynn has become Angela's trusted mentor for biblical study and encouragement. With a gentle spirit and genuine love for God and people, she has a remarkable way of helping others understand God's Word with wisdom, grace, and practical application. Around Gardening with God, she is affectionately known as everyone's "Bible Sis." Together, Angela and Lynn completed an intensive two-day herbalism seminar, further strengthening their shared interest in the remarkable plants God has provided for our benefit. As Gardening with God continues to grow, Lynn will lead the medicinal herb sessions, sharing both traditional herbal knowledge and the importance of thoughtful research, discernment, and responsible stewardship. Her heart for teaching, her love of Scripture, and her compassionate encouragement make her an invaluable part of the Gardening with God family.
